Responsibilities:

  • Researching and identifying potential leads and prospects through various channels, including online research, social media, and industry events.
  • Conducting outbound calls and emails to engage with leads and qualify them based on predefined criteria.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with prospective clients to understand their needs and requirements.
  • Educating prospects about the company's products or services and qualifying them as sales opportunities.
  • Collaborating with the sales team to develop targeted strategies and campaigns to drive lead generation and conversion.
  • Maintaining accurate records of all sales activities and updating the CRM system with relevant information.
  • Following up on marketing campaigns and inbound leads to identify potential sales opportunities.
  • Providing regular updates and reports on lead generation activities, pipeline status, and sales performance.

Qualifications:

  • A degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
  • Proven experience in a sales or business development role, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and engage with prospects effectively.
  • Strong negotiation and persuasion skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving targets and driving sales outcomes.
  • Highly organised with excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools is advantageous.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and achieving goals.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently with minimal supervision.
